Seoul’s Cycling Lee Won-Jae took the 3rd stage of the Le Tour de Langkawi with France’s Matthieu Sprick holding the leader’s yellow jersey for a third day in a row. Lee attacked during the last 4km to the finish line and lead by 6 seconds before he was caught again in the last 3km. His second attempt in the last 1km was successful. made him finish the stage with a lead of 5 seconds.

BANTING (11 Feb, 2008) – Malaysia’s Anuar Manan created sporting history for the hosts when he sensationally finished second in Stage 3 today to claim the nation’s first-ever green jersey on a day when South Korean Lee Won Jae won his first stage in Le Tour de Langkawi.

According to Chee Sen, Koji Fukushima, one of the five who break away from the peleton and finish the race 1 min ahead of the rest, was riding half way and he saw the “9 inch nails bed”, he took his socks and shoes off and wanting to try it out. Immediately, there were 2 officers trying to stop him from doing that.
