Viktor Folkesson from Sweden and now representing the An Post/ M. Donnelly/Sean Kelly team proved best yesterday of the Irish outfit in the Tour de San Luis in Argentina He finished in 70th place on equal time with Team CSC’s Juan Jose Haedo. Also was in the main along with the winner were Isaac Speirs and Christian Muller.

The remaining trio of the Irish outfit, Stephen Gallagher, Paidi O’Brien and Mark Cassidy were less fortunate finishing over three minutes in arrears.

The prologue winner on Tuesday Victor Martin Garrido (Palmeiras Resort-Tavira) retains his advantage.
